CEEQUAL Award for m9 Junction 1A in Edinburgh

Roadbridge, working as a partner contractor of SRB Civil Engineering Ltd. on the M9 Junction 1A Upgrade in Edinburgh, have been successful in achieving an ‘Excellent’ score in their Whole Project CEEQUAL Assessment.

This project forms part of the Forth Replacement Crossing project, undertaken on behalf of Transport Scotland.  The scheme was opened to traffic six weeks ahead of schedule in February 2013.

The CEEQUAL assessment ensures that the site team are committed to sustainable construction through the project life cycle and encourages good management practices to be employed.

The system is divided into tweleve chapters and the internal project assessors gather supporting evidence for over 200 questions throughout the project to support their submission.

The submission is then Verified by an externally appointed person before finally being Ratified by CEEQUAL.  The project was subsequently awarded a score of 86.5%.
