Oweninny Wind Farm School Visits

The Roadbridge Site Ecological Manager at Oweninny Wind Farm, Lorna Conway Hynes, has been busy visiting local schools to talk about the ecological issues facing our team on this 29 Turbine Wind Farm.  Pictured below are pupils from Geesala National School, where Lorna also launched a colouring competition, with a theme of Biodiversity.

Joining Lorna on these talks was Paul McArtain, a lecturer from Dundalk Institute of Technology, who discussed Renewable Energy, and was able to demonstrate the power of wind energy, with the pupils of Bangor National School, and as pictured below, Belmullet Vocational School.

Roadbridge would like to thank the teachers and students at these schools for their attention and look forward to seeing the colouring competition entries.
