  • Company Involvement: The Dun Laoghaire Golf project was awarded to Roadbridge Ltd. in May 2004. Roadbridge Ltd. formed part of a joint venture namely Southern Golf Construction Ltd. Hawtree Ltd was the designer for the golf course and O’ Connor Sutton Cronin & Associates were the Consulting Engineers for the Civil Works.

The development consists of a 27 hole golf course, clubhouse, maintenance yard and bowling green covering an approximate area of 130 hectares.

  • 650,000m³ of excavation
  • 12.5km of tarmac cart paths 3m wide and a 1km 6m wide entrance road
  • Timber sleeper kerbing 12km
  • 2km of inter-connecting lake drainage varying in size from 300-675mm and 0.5-4.0m deep
  • Bridge crossings including 4 insitu concrete stone faced and 4 timber bridges
