Job Summary

We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Construction Plant Fitter to join our existing team in our Limerick workshops. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, and motivated with good communication and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

You will be trained to undertake the fitting, repair, and servicing of various types of plant machinery, Light Vehicles and Small Plant and a variety of other disciplines. Our existing fitters have many years of valuable multi brand experience on various Items of Plant and fleet. We have the latest Diagnostic software and access to multiple brand training platforms; this will be an all bases covered apprenticeship for the plant industry and is a great opportunity for the right candidate in this busy and ever changing industry.

  • Maintain the workshop in a tidy manner
  • Assist with the Repair and Service of plant machinery as required
  • Attend training as requested
  • Prepare detailed service reports to include time, parts, travel, and all relevant information
  • Travel to other sites as needed.

Essential Qualifications / Experience

  • Leaving Certificate
  • Provisional/Full Clean Driving License
  • Some previous experience in the plant sector preferable.
  • You must have the ability to work in a busy environment.
  • You should display a high level of enthusiasm and self- motivation.
  • Have an excellent time and attendance record.
  • Ability to take direction.
