Job Summary

We are looking to appoint a Bid Co-Ordinator, to work closely with our procurement team on the timely submission of Tender and Pre-Qualification documents on various infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will be primarily based in our office in Welwyn Garden City. They will be enthusiastic, confident and motivated with good communication and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team – liaising with staff across multiple office and site locations will be important.
It is vital that they are able to demonstrate a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and are able to manage their time effectively to fit with tight deadlines.
We are looking for someone who has a proactive approach to the role, Previous experience in a construction related business would be beneficial but is not essential, as long as the right candidate is dedicated and eager to learn about the industry.

Responsibilities for the role include:

  • Assisting with the completion and submission of all Standard Selection Questionnaire, Pre-Qualification and Tender submissions
  • Monitoring Online Trackers/OJEU notices for new opportunities coming to the market. Inputting potential opportunities into summary reports and submitting to the relevant personnel.
  • Maintaining and updating the electronic bid library (EasyPQQ) with the latest case studies, capability statements, organisation charts, CV’s and Quality responses.
  • Updating documents commonly used for submissions and gathering the required documents and content from staff across the business.

Essential Experience / Skills

  • Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail – the successful candidate will be working on lengthy quality responses
  • Experience working to tight deadlines – good time management
  • Good Computer competency – experience in basic use of Adobe InDesign would be an advantage. Experience in MS Office Products.

  • Full Driving License
