Design Coordinator (Limerick)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Design Coordinator to work with our estimating department on the procurement and tendering of various infrastructure projects based at our head office in Limerick.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing technical submissions for Project pre-qualification to Clients
  • Developing Technical Submissions for Tenders
  • Interfacing with Design Consultancies as part of Tender development & working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Interfacing with the estimating team to develop buildable solutions
  • Interpreting client’s requirements & developing win strategies /win themes

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Related
  • Minimum 5 years or more in a design and / or technical development background
  • Knowledge of industry standards in water, wastewater, highways, pipelines
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in managing the development of Tender Technical Bids would be desirable
  • Experience in Autocad 3D modelling would be an advantage
