Due to continuing company expansion, we are looking to recruit a Junior/Assistant Buyer to work out of our Bellshill office. The Junior / Assistant buyer main responsibility is to provide day to day purchasing support to the purchasing manager and department.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and motivated with good communication skills and must be willing to work away from home, as required. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior / Assistant Buyer to progress their career with the leading Civil Contractor and to develop their skills and knowledge, while being mentored by industry experts.
Training would be job specific and generally within the working day. However, depending on experience, some specific purchasing training maybe required, generally CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) day courses, 2-3 days per annum.
