100,000 Manhours Accident Free at Oweninny Wind Farm

The Oweninny Wind Farm, located close to Bellacorick in County Mayo has achieved the very impressive milestone of 100,000 manhours without a Lost Time Accident during July 2018.  This project is being developed by an ESB / Bord Na Mona Joint Venture, with Roadbridge as the Main Contractor for the civil engineering package and Siemens Gamesa providing the turbines.

To mark the occasion, the following video was produced, giving an overview of the scale of the projects, so please click on the image to play this short video.

As a further means of marking the occasion, all project personnel were given a commemorative fleece to thank them for their hard work.  These kinds of results do not happen by accident (no pun intended), and are a direct result of the actions and dedication of all project members.  The value that an experienced, collaborative team brings to a project cannot be underestimated, so Roadbridge wish to offer our congratulations to all those involved in the project, and look forward to further impressive achievements along the way.
