Roadbridge Head Office staff were treated to a Green Awareness Day last week at our Limerick office, when members of Ferguson Environmental Services Limited (FES), ran some interesting challenges.
The focus of the talks were on energy awareness and the FES have some excellent displays around how much energy devices commonly found, both at home and in the work place, emit. One fun talking point was the ‘Watt Challenge’ where participants must cycle a bike as fast as possible to demonstrate how much energy is required to power light bulbs. This inevitably led to some competition amongst staff!
By coincidence, we had a special visitor to our office that day as well in the form of former Munster, Ireland and Lions legend Donnacha O’Callaghan, who was happy to take part in the challenge.
We would like to thank the staff of FES for a very enlightening (sorry!) day and wish them all the best in future events. If you’d like to know more about their services, please contact FES at http://www.ferguson-es.com/
