Food Safety Assurance Award for Roadbridge

The canteen staff at Roadbridge’s Head Office in Limerick have been honoured by the Food Safety Professionals Association (FSPA), following our external audit earlier this year.

Stella Udobi, Chef; Orlagh Degan, FSPA; Siobhan Curran, Chef, Caroline Mulcahy, Food Safety Manager

“The Food Safety Professionals Association have presented The Food Safety Assurance Awards to a variety of Food Businesses from leading Hospitals, Educational Institutions, a Bakery, outside Catering Establishments and Nursing Homes.  FSPA acknowledge and salutes each and every business for being best in class for Food Safety and Hygiene.

Achieving the Award is the culmination of hard work, attention to detail and being fastidious about Hygiene Matters.  More than that, it is an attitude and a commitment to quality, setting and maintaining the highest standards above and beyond the Regulatory Environment.  The Award brings recognition and further success, driving performance and sales,” according to Mary Daly, Chairperson of FSPA.

The Award is truly fair and objective, measured by the leading Food Safety Professionals in Ireland.

Eiblin O Leary, Training and Compliance Manager at The Food Safety Authority congratulated the companies on their achievement and prioritising protecting consumers health and working in the best interests of their customers and should be commended for doing so.  She would like “Winners to display the Award in a prominent place, include it in all promotional material and be justifiably proud of their wonderful achievement.”
