The Project comprised the enabling works for the Chalfont St Peters Vent Shaft for HS2. The works included the construction of a site access from the A413, access road to the vent site and the construction of the associated site compound. The scope included :-

  • Boundary Fencing (Timber post & rail & Herras Security)
  • Earthworks involving 30,000m3 of cut/fill
  • Construction of 450m of surfaced access road
  • Site Compound Set Up (RC works, drainage, aggregate fill and surfacing)
  • Stabilisation of Working Platforms & Road formation
  • Shaft Platform Drainage works
  • Construction of 2 No. attenuation Ponds (1 No. lined)
  • Ducting installation to Piling Platform & Access road
  • Watermain Installation to Site Compound, Piling Platform and Access road
  • Aggregate importation & Placement for Site Compound Car parks and Shaft Piling Platform
  • Junction Works at Site Entrance on A413
  • Installation & Commissioning of Traffic Signals on A413
