  • Company Involvement: The Killeen Castle Site Development was awarded to Roadbridge Ltd in July 2004. Roadbridge Ltd was appointed as the main contractor for the construction and infrastructural development of the golf course. This is a Jack Nicklaus designed signature golf course. PH McCarthy Consulting Engineers were the designers for the civil works.

This Contract comprised 11.5km of tarmac cart paths 2-2.5m wide and 9km of 4.2-6m wide internal roads with associated services. The Castle of Killeen is a refurbished 15th century Norman Castle set on a 600 acre estate. On completion this will form part of a Starwood Luxury Collection Hotel & Spa. This course surrounds the estate and the prestigious residences overlook it.
