This contract involved the construction of a 130,000 PE water treatment plant including associated buildings and site works. A Large proportion of the site was built on alluvial silts, this resulted in the site being filled with 550,000m³of class 2 materials, then surcharged and vertically drained with a 900mm triangular grid for 12 months. This enabling contract of the works was awarded to Roadbridge.
