This 57km motorway project was designed, constructed, financed and is being maintained for a period of 25 years. The design and construct phase duration was 3 years and 8 months.

Over two kilometres of the project was constructed over soft ground requiring extensive vertical drainage, staged construction and surcharge. Other sections of the project were constructed through a karst landscape requiring specific design solutions and construction methods.
