Key Features

  • 32km of raw water aqueduct large diameter (900mm) twin steel water mains
  • 30km network mains pipeline consisted of twin diameter steel (710mm) single (610mm) steel, twin (500mm) PE100 and single (355mm) PE100 pipework
  • Associated pipeline ancillary works – drainage, fibre optic ducting cabling, air and line valves
  • Bridge End water treatment works extension – Scour channel, scour channel protection rock armour, control valve chamber, in-line valve chamber, mag-flow metre chamber, replacement lagoon and interconnecting pipework
  • Harrot Hill Pumping Station – Single story steel framed blockwork structure including, Cumbrian stone façade, Spanish slate roof tiles, surge vessels, pumps, pipe installation and substation
  • 5 no. micro tunnels and 1nr HDD (lengths ranging 30m to 1.2km) trenchless crossings
  • 60 n o. road crossings (5 major highways)
  • 96 no. water crossing (5 major river crossings)
  • 2 no. pipe bridges
